Our Mission
To share Asian Culture through the unique sport of Dragon Boat Racing, as a vehicle for organizational team building, fundraising, and fun.
Why Participate?
Not only is dragon boat racing a fun sport, but it also requires much team work and intense concentration. The numerous races on the event day will boost team morale and foster high-performing teams. All equipment is provided, and we will provide training on the actual race course and serve as the steerpersons for the dragon boat. No experience is necessary to participate, and you are guarenteed an unforgettable experience.
Who Can Participate?

The event is open to everyone 15 years of age or older. You don’t need to be a “seasoned "paddler to participate and enjoy.

Corporate teams in the greater Triangle area (Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Greensboro, Charlotte, etc.). Each organization is responsible for organizing its own team. Assistance is available

Admission is free to the public
Team Size
A full Dragon Boat crew consists of 20 paddlers and one drummer. We will provide the Steerer. Each team should consider 1–2 alternates.
Practice Sessions
Each team will receive two practice sessions prior to the event with instructions on proper paddling and racing skills. These will be held typically during weekends. Team captains will be contacted for specific date and time.
Prizes
Medals will be awarded to winning teams.
